I am an artist working primarily in oil on linen and wood panels, often beginning with a limited palette to distill mood and atmosphere. I also create drawings and have maintained a lifelong artistic practice, making art since early childhood.

 

With a renewed focus on painting, I continue to develop a practice grounded in careful observation and emotional resonance. My work moves between impressionism and realism, encompassing figurative subjects, cityscapes, and landscapes. Throughout, themes of isolation, loneliness, and exile quietly surface.

 

Whether working in the studio or occasionally painting en plein air, I seek a deeper connection to nature and the human condition. Through an intimate and introspective approach, I aim to create works that invite contemplation and evoke a sense of place, memory, and emotion.

 

I was born in Brooklyn and currently live in Westchester, New York.
